Can you believe it’s May and we are actually are now in our fifth month into the year? Finally, the start of the summer officially, optimistically hoping the weather starts to become more glorious, with Ireland anything can happen when it come’s to weather, however, we can always hope and dream. Irish Vegan Festival In Belfast Waterfront on May 13th a day-long festival dedicated to all things vegan. It is ticketed event with all VIP tickets sold out but normal tickets still available on their website.
After their first event in the Ulster Hall in 2016, Farplace Animal Rescue are bringing the Irish Vegan Festival to the new and bigger venue of the Belfast Waterfront Hall, to meet the growing demand for all things vegan in Northern Ireland. There will be a large variety of stalls with hot food, raw food, clothing, cosmetics, bodycare, merchandise, literature and many more items… In addition, there will be a selection of talks and cookery demos giving you valuable tips on going and staying vegan after the event. The 18th Cathedral Quarter Arts Festival Another festival in Belfast, already started from 27 April – 7 May 2017 which as the title would suggest many days of events from the arts.

Sheep’s Head Yarn Festival 2017 For those who love to walk and explore this is a perfect opportunity in Kilcrohane, Co Cork on the weekend of May 21st/May 22nd.
Life Festival This electric music festival takes place in Belevedere House, Co Westmeath on the 26th and 28th of May.
Westport Airshow Once the weather is any bit nice, the Westport Airshow would be a perfect day out on the 14th May 2017 along Westport Quay, as not only will the airshow happen, many events will take place as well.
